i have to be honest, too much lag, its not helpful to your game, the pixels of your character cant even be seen, the part where they explain you the game it looks bad and indistinct. and seriously its the slowest thing i have ever seen, my character had to die minutes ago.

Its a bit too intensive for HTML id say. WebGL has its limits. Download the steam demo. This is actually intended for PC not HTML. Frame rate is fine on my end, but peoples internet speed can differ. Might impact performance, plus videocard ect. There can be alot of sprites on screen. Download the steam demo if you want a flawless experience.

I wish; originally the game was to have multiple characters and selectable moves, but they had to be cut, lest Flash implode on itself from the size of the game. Look forward to more in the future (and cheers for looking into the history!)

it was fun. i actually liked that you did something about a culture, not so much people tries to do what you did here, the animation was pretty fun, even the game over was fun, i hope you will keep doing this games, and i hope ill be better the next time i play it ( i just get into the phase 2 and died), i though i could throw a max bow and get it before the boat escape and ¡whoops¡ failed again.
anyway good job, as a recommendation, why dont you try to do a hooligan fight in uk? that would be fun, especially if sex pistols sings something xd

The Viking culture has been an interesting one! We got the idea watching Viking documentaries on the History channel one day. Just sort of popped in our heads and made sense as a game :)

The game-over sequence is one of our favorite things about this game. We also have a few other cool sequences if you progress far enough. Don't give up and keep trying!

[Escape THE GAME]

is a good game but i have a problem when i get in the part of the sword in the rock it gets, likke trapped, i mean the mouse doesnt appear and if i get out of the window of the game and it comes to menu i can purchase any option that is there, and as i put autosave, it get trapped in there and i have to start the game again what am i suppose to do there? :c

Unfortunately, I guess you're stuck in a bug. One that even I wasn't aware of. Sorry.
*EDIT* It appears the bug you mention is caused by the new version of Flash player, I'm looking into it right now

i like the game but when its going out, i mean, it has been a lot of years, you know i understand if you cant give it to me now but, you can give us an update about the game, its 2016 man i played this before and i still want it out :c

Hello comendado!
I have a bad new and a good new.
The bad new is, I won't ever finish THIS game. I'm done with fanfictions, and anyway I don't think Newgrounds would accept movies/games with sprites anymore.

The good new is, I AM making a new game with original characters and story that will have a fighting system very similar to this one - I hope even better.

It'll be titled "Grim Ronin" and I'm going to publish it here around March. Follow me on Newgrounds (or on my Facebook page, which is called "Interactales")
